We are recruitingfor a Band8aAdultClinical Leadto join our team of healthcare scientists. The position is full time(0800-1600)and will be based in Windsor though we work from several sites across east Berkshireincluding in Maidenhead and Slough.The successful candidate will have a varied workload seeing complexadult, vestibularandtinnituspatients, for diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation.We are a non-AQPprovider, so only assess and treat patientswith complex hearing needs.


You are IT literate and competent usingAuditbaseand DATIX to input data and produce reportsanalysingissues and developingaction plans for service improvement. Youhave experience of implementingquality improvement initiativesin the workplace.


You will communicate calmly,effectivelyand reassuringly with service users and will make them feel heard and understood.Youwill have your own caseload ofpatients, andwill be involved in training students.








• Hearing assessmentand managementof complexadult patientsincluding those with learning disabilities

• Vestibular assessment and rehabilitation

• Tinnitus service oversight

• Line management of other audiologists within the team

• Leadingin quality improvement and service developmentwork

The “must haves” for this role:

1. Registered (or ready to register) as a Clinical Scientist

1. Post-qualification experience of working withcomplex adultpatients

1. Experience supervising students and line management
