Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5),
On call: Frequency 1:14; Category A - 3% on call supplement
Contract: Permanent
Job Overview
The South Kent CAMHS Community Team is currently recruiting for a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist position based at Cherry Tree House, Cheriton High Street, Folkestone, Kent, CT18 8AN.
This is a substantive, full-time replacement post comprising 10 PAs, with 7.5 PA allocated to DCC and 2.5 PA to SPA. The position is currently vacant, and the team aims to fill it as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will join a service that includes another full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist and a full-time Specialty Doctor. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future direction, treatment approaches, and service design in the area.
Qualifications needed:
· Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
· CCT or equivalent
· Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
· Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
· Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
