You will be working in a production factory preparing vegetables.
Roles and responsibilities will be:
- chopping and slicing vegetables using knives
- separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, removing the cores from peppers etc.
- washing and preparing vegetables
- Processing root crop vegetables into bags up to 10kg in weight.
- Inspecting and sorting root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
- Bagging orders ready for dispatch.
In order to keep the vegetables fresh, the factory has to a chilled environment, it will be 2 to 6 degrees so you must be comfortable working in these conditions.
You must have at least 3 months of warehouse/factory experience.
Please note thart the The environment is very cold.
Ongoing work with the chance to become permanent.
The shifts are Monday to Friday, starting work at 08:00 and working between 8-12 hours per day, there is no specific finish time.
Weekend work is available but not essential.
Paying £11.44 per hour.
