Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Leeds based client to recruit an experienced Shipping Clerk on a permanent, full time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business as a key member of the operations team. You will be undertaking duties relating to the day to day operations of the Export and Import Department and these duties will include:
· Calculating freight quotations
· Building up jobs including customs entries
· Liaising with suppliers and customers in a courteous and professional manner
· Completing the appropriate documentation for shipments
· Invoicing and any other duties commensurate with the position
Person Specification:
· Freight forward experience is essential, this role would suit someone looking to take the next step up in their freight forwarding career
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
· Competent IT skills
· Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build solid customer relationships
· The ability to work as part of a small, friendly team
· Able to manage your own workload whilst supporting colleagues as and when required
You will receive a full induction, and our client will offer training to further your career.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
