We are a mid-sized Coventry based firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors with a wide variety of clients. Established in 2004, we provide a specialist advice and compliance service to businesses and individuals in taxation, financial planning and associated products. In doing so, we command a unique position in providing the knowledge, expertise and complete offering of a ‘big firm’ combined with a ‘small firm’ ethos of cost effective and high value. As a tight-knit, fiercely independent firm, we look after our staff. We work hard as a team but we always make time for fun, with regular staff socials, charity collections and events.
We are seeking to extend the capacity of our reception and PA team with the addition of a part-time receptionist in the afternoons. You will be required to cover the phones, meet and greet any visitors and provide refreshments, assist with admin/secretarial duties for our Directors and close up the office at the end of the day.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as well as a genuine passion for customer service. This role will suit someone looking for a stable and friendly working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming telephone enquiries and redirect as appropriate or take messages and pass them on to the relevant staff member.
• Help maintain a clean office and clear desk policy.
• Send outgoing post on behalf of the business.
• Meet and greet external visitors, providing refreshments and briefing them on fire safety.
• Send out all staff emails/memos on behalf of the Directors.
• Close up the office ensuring lights are off, blinds are closed and heating/air con is turned off.
• Undertake ad hoc secretarial and PA duties and provide holiday/absence cover for the PA’s as required.
Requirements:
• Excellent telephone manner, with a professional, warm and helpful attitude
• Team oriented, with a flexible approach
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
