Play Worker, Stornoway Primary Afterschool Club (5793)
7.5 hours per week, term time, permanent post
£5,298 - £5,791 per annum, inclusive of £480 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
The post holder will be required to liaise with Senior Playworker to plan and implement play programme and activities, support the Senior Playworker with the day-to-day administration of the club, and provide cover for the Senior Playworker as and when required.
You must have proven childcare experience within childcare and a qualification that meets the requirements of the SSSC for Practitioners, along with knowledge of child development and familiarity of activities for children of primary school age.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
