Our client is a freelance electrical estimating company dedicated to helping contractors in their busier times.
They are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Team in North Shields.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Proven expertise in estimating for Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial sectors
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously, including projects up to £3 million in value
• Proficient in using estimating software
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate estimates from drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, wholesalers, and contractors
• Capable of handling complex tenders and working independently
• Experience in attending pre-start meetings and clarifying project details
What will your role look like?
• Estimating for projects across Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial sectors
• Managing multiple tenders simultaneously, ensuring all estimates are completed from drawings and specifications
• Attending pre-start meetings and working with wholesalers and specialist contractors to secure cost-effective prices
• Preparing and submitting accurate tender documentation
• Utilising computer estimating software to create detailed and precise estimates
