When you join Your Trust as a Swimming Teacher you will be part of a charity based across the Rochdale Borough that aims to
support every member of our diverse community to live their best life; inspiring them to be healthier, happier and creative
people.

Salary: Band 3, £27,165 per annum (pro-rate for part time hours) / £14.08 per hour
Hours: Various part time hours available
Location: Across all Your Trust sites
What will my role be as a Swimming Teacher?
The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes
delivering swimming lessons, in line with STA Guidance, to a range of learners from babies to adults as part of the Your Trust
Swim Academy.
What do I need to have?
* Qualified to Level 2 STA Swimming Teachers Award or Certificate or Swim England Qualification Level 2 Teaching Swimming
* Experience of teaching swimming at a variety of levels and with all ages
* Hold National Rescue Test for Swimming Teachers (NRASTC) or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
* Friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with different clients
* Ability to follow laid down procedures, work under pressure and without constant supervision
* Able to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
* Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management skills
