Crynodeb
To select and apply Occupational Therapy Assessments for a caseloadaddressing occupational performance, skill deficits. Enabling the client inareas of self maintenance, productivity, leisure and engagement. To plan and implement client centred individual and/or group interventions, using clinical reasoning and a wide range of treatment interventions to achieve therapeutic goals. To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment for clients with multiple needs in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention. Completing outcome measures To provide OT advice and training to carers, clients and otherprofessionals. To be responsible for the supervision and written assessment ofOccupational Therapy students on practice placement within the Trust on completion of competencies. To participate in the operational planning, and implementation of policyand service development within the team. To maintain a high level of knowledge of resources, service and nationalissues relating to people who have a learning disability. To apply specialist skills and knowledge in order to establish professional competence and fitness to practise as an Occupational Therapist. To be actively involved in the development and implementation of the new service structure The LD Service operates from 8am to 8pm and staff will be expected to workflexibly to meet the needs of the service and be able to travel independentlyacross two bases: Firshill Rise and Grenoside Grange Please read Job description and Person Specification attached for more details
