Coxlease School and Clay Hill School are recruiting for a Compliance and Maintenance Manager to join their maintenance team.
We are looking for a Compliance and Maintenance manager to be responsible for all aspect of site compliance, ensuring all documentation, RA and Checks are up to date and leading Health and Safety audits for both schools.

Coxlease School is an independent specialist day school, located near Lyndhurst, Hampshire - a beautiful setting in the heart of the New Forest. We are proud of our excellent reputation for providing highly effective education, care, therapy, welfare and support for up to 107 pupils aged 5 to 19 years old who have difficulties regulating their emotional, social and mental health needs. They may also have other complex needs often associated with autistic spectrum conditions.
Clay Hill School is ian independent specialist day school for young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs. We also provide education for young people aged 5 to 19 years. Clay Hill School provides a wholly integrated and highly effective provision providing small group education, individualised therapy, and a carefully and creatively constructed curriculum which develops a love of learning and gives our young people the best possible outcomes.
A calm, purposeful and caring environment is provided, which combined with high staff to pupil ratios, ensures that every pupil at Clay Hill School has the opportunity to develop their ability, share new experiences and reach their full potential in a secure and safe environment.
Responsibilities include –
Checking all sites’ documentation, supporting in completion of such, supporting whole site external H&S Audits
Supporting and advising the site leads on their health and safety checks and ensuring they are fully completed within required timescales identify.
Regular review of all RAs to be completed in conjunction with the audits making sure that there are site specific and up to date RAs in place as advised.
Site Risk Assessments for maintenance and refurbishment works carried out on existing and new sites by members of the maintenance team and/or external contractors remains the responsibility of the Site Manager
To ensure that the management and maintenance of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken.
Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues (and then actions as agreed) to ensure that
environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
Being the main contact for site leads to communicate any Maintenance job requests and delegating them appropriately within the team.
Works within the schools set budget to ensure the team is completing all tasks assigned.
