Job Description
Brook Street are delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a well-known Accountancy firm based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established firm where they will have full responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
- Prepare monthly corporation tax calculations.
- Produce calculations for tax payments.
- Preparation of VAT returns on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Ad hoc duties around share restructure.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE).
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts.
- Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Iris, QuickBooks or Xero.
