FJA are partnering with a national training provider in the utility sector, who are looking to recruit a candidate who wants to take their next steps in the Wastewater industry career to become a qualified Wastewater Treatment Trainer.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a Wastewater Treatment background with occupational experience in Water Operations.
You will be home based but must be prepared to travel.
Wastewater Treatment Trainer Responsibilities:
Deliver quality learning packages against measured standards
Build quality learning packages to meet specified objectives and outcomes
Monitor and maintain delivery products
Deliver best practice and standardisation of training and assessment
Carry out observation of learners in centre and the workplace
Judge diverse evidence produced by the learner against learning outcomes
Judge learners progress against learning outcomes
Contribute to standardisation of qualifications as part of the assessment team
Liaise with Internal Quality Assurers
Strive to attain and maintain an individual utilisation of 80%
Communication skills
Ability to develop relationships at all levels
Designing training material
Delivery and presentation skills
Assessing skills
Working as part of a team
Ability to use email, Powerpoint and Word
The Successful Wastewater Treatment Trainer:
Our ideal candidate is someone who has water industry background with occupational experience in wastewater treatment operations
You will be a good communicator and ideally have a background in training and assessing qualifications
You will be both professional and customer focused in your approach and proficient in maintaining and expanding current relationships
Experience in producing and delivering learning to a diverse range of people including apprentices
Deliver high quality training programmes to a wide range of customers and learners
Build quality training packages based on learning objectives and outcomes
Monitor and maintain currency of delivery products
Assess learners in centre and in the workplace
Contribute to standardisation of qualifications
Liase with customers to develop and maintain relationships
Required experience and qualifications:
Relevant water industry qualifications
Maths and English
Full driving licence
Understanding and application of health and safety
Desired experience and qualifications:
Assessor Qualification D32/D33, or A1 or TAQA equivalent or work towards
Level 3 Training and Education or similar or work towards
Training material design and delivery
Delivery of qualifications
Delivery on apprenticeship programmes
