Summary
With over 20 years of experience in delivering Interventional Cardiac Catheter Lab services, InHealth cares for more than 37,500 patients annually. We operate the largest fleet of state-of-the-art mobile and relocatable Cardiac Cath Labs across the UK and Ireland, providing essential services to 30 hospitals over the past three years.
Our services encompass a wide range of procedures, including diagnostic angiography, cardiac rhythm management, PCI (including primary PCI), and both simple and complex electrophysiology (EP) services. We are also the only provider capable of delivering relocatable interventional radiology facilities.
Role Overview:
As a Mobile Cardiac Physiologist, you will play a key role in the delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures across the UK. This includes performing diagnostic angiography, PCI (using advanced tools such as OCT, pressure wire, IVUS, and Rotablation), and independently managing simple and complex device implantation, box changes, and follow-ups. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
As this is a mobile role, a full UK driving license is required, and successful candidates will receive either a company car or a car allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support the mobilisation team in readying relocatable and mobile units for delivery to various sites.
- Manage your own time and travel to various locations across the UK, as per the rota.
- Continuously develop and maintain clinical skills through on-the-job experience and professional courses, ensuring compliance with mandatory training.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
- Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- An excellent communicator, able to present information clearly and logically.
- Enthusiastic about travel and adaptable to working across different locations.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working independently in a cardiac catheter lab, performing interventional cardiology procedures.
- BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent).
- Experience with pacing and complex device procedures (EP experience is desirable but not essential).
- Member of a relevant professional body (SCST, AHCS, formerly RCCP).
- BHRS or IBHRE accreditation (desirable, but not required), or willingness to obtain.
- Full UK driving licence.
If you are looking for an exciting, varied role in a dynamic and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply and join the InHealth team in delivering high-quality cardiac care across the UK.
