Crynodeb
Oxted Pre-School is a committee run pre-school situated in the heart of Oxted, Surrey, a 5 minute walk from the train station.
We are looking to add an Early Years Practitioner with Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (Diploma for the Children and Young Person's Workforce) to our team. Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Children are desired. The role is permanent following a probation period and DBS clearance. The role is part time and we will confirm the hours at interview stage.
This role will include being a Key Person to individual children. Supporting those key children through the settling in process, monitoring their learning and development and plan their individual programme to ensure they have an easy transition into school. You will also keep parents involved with face to face discussions, online learning, end of term reports and parent meetings.
Oxted Pre-school has spent over 50 years serving the local community, and during that time, we have welcomed hundreds of small children and their families into our warm, caring setting, and sent them on to ‘big school’ as enthusiastic and confident young learners. We know that all children are special, unique individuals. We value diversity, celebrate our differences, and welcome everyone, regardless of culture, language, social background or ability. Our overarching aim is to give every child the best possible start in life, and to provide them with the support that will enable them to fulfil their potential.
Our core hours are 9am to 3pm.
