About the role:
Assisting the leader in the planning, review and delivery of high quality, play based experiences. Contributing to providing a warm, welcoming environment and supporting children's care, welfare and development.
About you:
• Have at least GCSE grade C or above in Literacy
• Have achieved or be working towards CCLD Level 3 in childcare.
• Be able to relate well to children and adults
• Have good communication and listening skills.
• Be an effective team member.
What you will do:
• Assist with supervision as children arrive and leave.
• Initiate interactions by using appropriate language (including other forms of communication) and extend play based learning in both the indoor and outdoor environment
• Encourage early thinking skills and involve children in their own learning.
• Assist in a consistent behaviour management approach.
• Prepare and clear play activities and experiences
• Contribute to planning and record keeping
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
