We are currently recruiting for2 x 25-hourcleaning positions atSt. Peter's Hospital in Maldon, working Monday to Friday from16:00 - 21:00.

As part of a small, dedicated team of 5 cleaners, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital after regular services have concluded for the day.

While previous hospital cleaning experience is a plus, it’s not required – we are happy to provide full training. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to receive your application!
1. To undertake routine, specific and deep cleaning tasks as detailed in the Provide Cleaning Guidelines for Community Hospitals and ensure all organisational policies, procedures and local departmental procedures are adhered to.
2. To use cleaning as necessary to undertake the variety of cleaning tasks required and as directed by the co-ordinator. To ensure all equipment is used, cleaned and stored safely and dismantled and assembled as necessary. Ensure any defects or faults are reported immediately to the Team Leader.
3. To empty waste bins and remove sacks of waste to various points of collection on the site in accordance with Organisation’s waste disposal policy.
4. Correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used at all times.
5. To ensure that the health and wellbeing of patients is at the centre of all activities and that all staff engage and communicate with patients as appropriate.
