Treasury Analyst
Search are a leading recruitment agency, partnering with a prominent client based in Liverpool to find a talented Treasury Analyst. Our client is seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in treasury operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to further their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring daily cash positions and ensuring liquidity is maintained across the business.
* Assisting with cash forecasting and preparing short-term cash flow reports.
* Supporting treasury operations, including bank account management and payment processing.
* Analysing and managing financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposure.
* Supporting the preparation and management of banking relationships and covenants.
* Assisting with the development and implementation of treasury policies and controls.
* Generating reports for senior management, providing insights on cash management and financial risks.
* Working closely with other finance teams to ensure alignment on cash and liquidity planning.
Skills required:
We're looking for a motivated and analytical individual with the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience in a treasury or financial analysis role in treasury team
* Experience with treasury systems and banking platforms.
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Excellent Excel skills for reporting
* A relevant finance qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) would be an advantage, though not essential.
