Be a key player in our Incident Management team

The 1st Line Service Desk Analyst role will assist the company in supporting our customers, as well as providing internal IT support within Opus, gaining exposure to a wide variety of different technologies.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:


1st / 2nd Line IT support
1st / 2nd Line Network and Telecoms support
Working with 3rd party connectivity suppliers to fix problems with our customers’ voice and data networks, telephone lines
Building and configuring laptops for our IT managed services clients
Maintaining accurate ticketing records, categories, and knowledgebase within CRM system
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the IT industry and provide new ideas to help expand the technical services portfolio


Salary £28-£30k DOE

25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Hybrid working to include 3 days a week in our Reigate office

To cover hours between 07:30 and 19:00. Either on an early 07:30-16:00 or late 10:30-19:00 shift

Other organisations may call this role First Line Technical Support Engineer or Service Desk Engineer



The talents we are excited to see

You will have the following experience/skills:


At least 2 years previous MSP Service Desk experience
Fundamental Microsoft basic admin, Telecom VOIP and SIP understanding
Familiarity with general Customer Service handling relationships & CRM systems
Any Provisioning / support of Gamma, Virtual1, Expo-E, broadband ADSL/VDSL and high speed Leased Lines would be an advantage
At least 5 GCSE’s to include passes in both Maths and English
Passion to develop and learn industry best practice, such as ITIL service strategy
COMP TIA certification is desirable
