Tru Talent are excited to recruit an HR Shared Services Advisor for our client, a well-established facilities managment company with over 35 years of success and still owned by its founders. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing HR team and play a vital role in ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-employment screening for all new hires.
• Maintain accurate HR data and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as payroll and operations, to ensure seamless processing of employee data.
• Manage vetting and re-vetting processes across the company.
• Perform right-to-work checks and ensure ongoing compliance with legal standards.
• Oversee DBS checks and maintain compliance standards.
• Complete employee identification checks and audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including BS7858, BPSS, and CTC.
• Support the coordination and delivery of new employee inductions.
• Assist with audits and the development of processes to improve HR efficiency.
• Handle ad hoc HR projects as required.
• Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in an HR or shared services advisory role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level).
• A proactive problem solver with the ability to think creatively and offer innovative solutions.
• A supportive team player who can work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
