At Phoenix Care Staff, we are looking for new Health Care Assistants to join our amazing team providing cover to a range of Premium homes in the local area. At Phoenix, we pride ourselves on providing the very top level of care for our clients and their service users. We are looking for bright, personable people with excellent communication skills but most importantly, a passion for care and desire to go the extra mile to improve the lives and experience of the service users.
The Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant / Support worker you will be observing, monitoring and recording service user’s conditions, providing personal care (Washing, feeding, changing, help going to the toilet etc), assisting service users with day to day activities, general house keeping and effectively communicating with them!
Requirements:
For this role we require a minimum of 9 months, paid experience within a UK Care Setting. All applicants must have prior experience providing personal care and using hoists. We are looking for positive, hardworking individuals with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for care and to improve the lives of the service users.
Benefits:
All our staff are paid weekly through PAYE. We always look to match our staff members experience to the service to ensure all our staff are in settings with conditions they are familiar with. We provide a 24/7 support line for any emergencies or concerns with dedicated teams to support you in your role. All our staff are given refresher training with options during employment to be placed on further training courses as the need arises. You will accrue holidays for every hour worked and all staff are enrolled into an (Optional) pension scheme including employer contributions. We provide our staff uniform, can assist with DBS applications where needed and offer starting pay rate of £11.44 an hour with room for increases as you progress.
