Summary
A new and exciting series of great opportunities to work as a Security Officer for G4S, a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
The rate of pay is £11.44 an hour.
This is a full-time role working day and night shifts on a rotational basis on a 42 hours a week contract. Your Shifts will mainly fall on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and the Weekend (One Sat/Sun on and then one Sat/Sun off).
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer your duties will include:
- Meet and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
- Conducting searches where required
- Patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents
- Locking and unlocking of doors
- Monitoring CCTV
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
We are looking for people who hold a valid SIA.
