We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our nursery and primary school team. Our Breakfast Club provides children with a positive start to their day, offering a healthy breakfast and engaging activities in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome children and families as they arrive at the club.
• Prepare and serve a nutritious breakfast, catering to dietary needs and preferences.
• Supervise and engage children in play and creative activities.
• Ensure the breakfast area is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Support children’s well-being and promote a positive start to their day.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience working with children, preferably in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.
• Be warm, approachable, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development.
• Understand basic food hygiene and health and safety requirements (training can be provided).
• Be a team player, adaptable, and reliable.
• Hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.
• A supportive and friendly working environment.
