Summary
We are looking to add to our fantastic team with an enthusiastic, motivated and creative practitioner, based at Warren Wood School, Gainsborough and employed across the trust on a permanent basis. As a multi-disciplinary practitioner, we hold high expectations and a community wide commitment to supporting the development of our young people with a range of additional needs.
Within the role you will work as part of the team in meeting the students at their point of need. Experience of working within a restorative culture and utilising strategies in supporting students with profound and complex sensory, social and emotional needs and autism is an advantage. The applicant should have energy for supporting positive behaviour, communication and complex needs.
The purpose of this role is to work with students in enabling progress, in accordance with their EHCP where appropriate and / or groups of students as directed by the teacher. To provide required support academically, emotionally, socially across a range of student-centered activities and learning.
