We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and installation work on a variety of production equipment. Experience with drives, PLCs, and HMIs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform planned preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Carry out installation work to provide services to equipment.
• Undertake facilities repairs and maintenance work as needed.
• Collaborate with subcontractors when necessary.
• Liaise with machine manufacturers for technical support.
• Identify and procure necessary parts and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Experience with print machinery is beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly with drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for liaising with subcontractors and manufacturers.
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with print machinery.
