About the team
Our Finance department is formed with over 100 employees and we are looking for an Accountancy Officer to join us.
You'll be working within our in-house Financial Systems team who work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to implement new systems that support HCCs management of income and expenditure. The team also support the development work within existing systems.
We need to ensure business as usual activities continuye, therefore the team ensure that any change does not impact on business-as-usual activities and key services.
About the role
Supporting a variety of Finance related Systems projects, including User Acceptance Testing
Supporting communications with stakeholders on project progress.
Developing our internal portal (Intranet) Finance pages, co-ordinating business processes and procedure notes for publication on the Intranet.
Supporting the development of our internal learning platform (iLearn) modules
About you
Essential
Demonstrable problem-solving abilities
Experience in building good working relationships
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Evident of competent IT skills
Desirable
Evidence of working within a Team and good working relationships with outside stakeholders
AAT qualified of equivalent, or have significant proven experience
