Summary
Owen Payne Recruitment are recruiting for a CNC Machine Shop Manager on behalf of our client based in the Walsall (WS8) area.
Our client are a Family run machining & fabrication business which has seen steady growth over their years of operation and with this has come increased flexibility offering machining solutions to a wide range of industry sectors both nationally and internationally.

This new exciting role will be permanent from day 1 with the company direct.
Candidate Requirements:
• Must have an efficient approach towards daily requirements
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must possess a positive and motivating attitude toward leading a team
• Must have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in programming the following: Fanuc Machining Centres & Lathes, using CAD/CAM, Machining Methodology & best practices
Job Duties:
• Production planning & progress chasing
• Tooling management
• Programming knowledge of Fanuc Controls
• Machining Methodology best practices
• Tool setting best practices
• Machine operating best practices
• Managing tooling requirements & storage
• Managing 5s practices with a focus on good housekeeping
• Focus on CI initiatives
• Working to KPIs
• Providing VMC & Lathe CAM programs when required
Salary:
• £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per annum
