You would be joining a team of 24 nephrologists with a wide range of clinical and research interests working out of the regional renal unit based at St Helier, providing renal care throughout South London and Surrey
Based at St Helier Hospital with two days a week spent providing outreach general nephrology clinics, including a weekly clinic and renal advice at Royal Surrey Hospital, including weekly advanced kidney care clinic and multidisciplinary team meeting, and providing care for a cohort of haemodialysis patients based at Sutton Satellite Unit.
All the nephrology consultants based at St Helier contribute to care of renal inpatients, with a hot week, currently every six weeks. The appointee would also be required to carry out ward-rounds at the weekend on the same basis and be available for one in 12 nights on call from home.
