Summary

McGinley Support Services are recruiting for a Pipe Layer for immediate start aroundthe Birmingham area:


Our client has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 225km section of the new high speed rail link between Euston and Birmingham, and we are proud to supply Pipe Layers, among many other skilled trades and Labour across multiple sites and projects.


The scope of work includes viaducts, shafts, tunnelling, road diversions, over bridges and over 100 million cubic meters of excavation to be completed over a four-year period.

Responsibilities:

*Lay pipes according to blueprints and specifications
*Install and repair underground pipelines for various systems
*Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
*Operate power tools such as welding equipment for pipe connections
*Dig trenches and excavate areas for pipe installation
*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements:

*Green/Blue CSCS Card

*Previous experience as a Pipe Layer


Salary:
* £20.22p/h PAYE overtime after 10 hours daily will be 1.3x
* Overtime Rate: £26.96 p/h
