My client is a leading provider of expert services to the chemical research, development, and manufacturing industries. They specialise in process research and development for manufacturing drug substances and other high-value materials. Their team of experienced chemists offers a wide range of expertise, from discovery support to full-scale manufacturing and life-cycle management.
Responsibilities:
As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a crucial role in driving their scientific capabilities forward. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the Analytical project lead on customer projects
- Developing and validating analytical methods
- Analytical problem solving and instrument troubleshooting
- Applying digital tools to deliver efficient process understanding
- Leading initiatives to improve the analytical team's expertise
- Ensuring laboratory safety standards are met
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc in Chemistry (or related subject) with a PhD preferred
- Proven experience in analytical science, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC, and MS
- Strong data management and visualisation skills
- Knowledge of applicable standards and HSSE regulations
