Job title: Pega System Administrator

We are looking for a Pega System Administrator for a future role to manage and configure Pega Platform and PRPC applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Responsibilities include administering Tomcat Server environments, implementing load balancing, and troubleshooting with Pega SMA, AES, and Node tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, configure, and manage Pega Platform and PRPC applications to ensure high availability and performance.
Set up and manage Tomcat Server environments, including load balancing and clustering, to maintain stability and optimize resource allocation.
Implement load balancing and clustering strategies for scalability and efficient resource utilization across Pega nodes.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, using Pega SMA (System Management Application), Pega AES (Autonomic Event Services), and Pega Node tools.
Apply Pega High Availability (HA) techniques to ensure system uptime, resilience, and quick recovery from potential outages.
Perform regular performance tuning of Pega applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks for optimal performance.
Manage and deploy Pega Hotfixes and updates to maintain system stability, security, and compliance with Pega's best practices.
Configure OAuth, SSO, and SSL to secure application access and protect data integrity across Pega environments.
Administer LDAP configurations for user authentication and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within the Pega environment.
Ensure seamless integration with external systems via WSDL and other service protocols, facilitating secure and reliable data exchanges.
Oversee Pega platform security, applying necessary patches and configurations to meet compliance and security standards.
Maintain and manage Pega frameworks to support application functionality and maintain compliance with Pega standards.
Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
Proven experience as a Pega System Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Pega Platform and Pega PRPC.
Strong understanding of Tomcat Server configuration, load balancing, and clustering for optimized system performance.
Hands-on experience with OAuth, SSO, SSL, and LDAP for secure system access and integration.
Proficiency with Pega High Availability (HA), Pega SMA, Pega Node, and Pega AES for system monitoring and stability.
Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Pega environments.
Familiarity with Pega Hotfixes and Pega frameworks to maintain system updates and compatibility.
Knowledge of WSDL and other integration tools for smooth data exchanges with external applications.
Pega System Architect or System Administration certification.
