As a Business Development Manager for Full Colour Coaching, your role would involve strategically growing and expanding the organisations reach and impact.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organisational goals and values.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.


Client Acquisition:
• Lead efforts to acquire new clients through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities.

• Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.

• Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to showcase our services and value proposition to new and existingclients.


Revenue Generation:
• Develop and implement revenue-generating initiatives, such as new products and services.
• Work alongside a fundraising consultant to cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding agencies to secure financial support for organisational programs and initiatives.


Stakeholder Engagement:
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, funders, and volunteers.
• Act as a liaison between the organisation and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and values.


Performance Evaluation:
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics tracking, and regular reporting.
• Analyse data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making and continuous improvement.


Professional Development:
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to business development and youth well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, training programs, and networking events to enhance skills and knowledge.

Marketing and Branding:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies, promotional campaigns, and branding initiatives.
• Generate compelling content for marketing materials, website, social media platforms, newsletters, and press releases to engage and inform target audiences and attract clients.

• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop content that highlights Full Colour Coaching’s impact and showcases our unique approach to supporting young people’s wellbeing.

• Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and community partners to generate press coverage and amplify Full Colour Coaching’s visibility in Huntly, across Aberdeenshire and further afield across Scotland.
• Engage with stakeholders, including youth families, donors, volunteers, and community partners, to solicit feedback, build relationships, and foster collaboration.

Person Specification: Business Development Manager

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
Experience

• Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the not for profit or social enterprise sector.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth and expand organisational reach.
• Proven track record of success in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably within the not for profit or social enterprise sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Strong understanding, or willingness to learn, about youth wellbeing, mental health and coaching.
