Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, an engineering company in their search for a Manual Machinist to work at their facility in Widnes.
For the successful Manual Machinist, our client is offering:
• Up to £20 per hour (DOE)
• Up to £41,600 per annum (DOE)
• Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
• Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2 rates
• Permanent Opportunity
• 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Pension scheme
The role - Manual Machinist :
• Operating conventional and manual machinery to manufacture, repair, and modify industrial rotary equipment
• Setting and operating a Conventional / manual machinery
• Machining various components
• Tool changing
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Conducting quality inspections
What our client is looking for in a Manual Machinist
• HNC/NVQ/City and Guilds in Engineering or equivalent BENEFICIAL
• Previous experience in a similar role ESSENTIAL
• Must be fully trained in the use of conventional / manual machines. ESSENTIAL
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience in rotary equipment repairs i.e. gearboxes, pumps, fans, motors etc or fabrication BENEFICIAL
