We’re seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team at Nupharm in Salford, part of Europe’s largest healthcare provider. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing branded medicines across Europe and overseeing their import into the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare by building and expanding supplier relationships while contributing to the delivery of lifesaving medications every day.

The heart of the role

  • Research and Development: Actively seek out and research new products, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Dynamic Supplier Relations: Manage and support relationships with suppliers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings and site visits.
  • Strategic Negotiation: Negotiating and purchase from approved suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and stock criteria are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to resolve stock queries, manage missed sales, and support site-specific requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to current procedures, with a focus on system housekeeping and administrative excellence.
