The Governors and Head Teacher of Holy Rood Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervising Assistant who can join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of fabulous children and superb staff in a school graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted (May 2022).
The successful candidate will:
• support the ethos and values of a Catholic school;
• recognise the place of confidentiality in the school environment.Essential Qualifications: • An ability to relate well to both children and adults
• Have experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age in either a paid, voluntary or domestic environment and will need to be able to show an interest in children’s development and in a wide range of issues concerning their education and welfareDesirable Experience: • Knowledge of basic health and safety, and first aid
• Evidence of working constructively as part of a team
• Ability to plan for and lead an activity with a small group of childrenThese key responsibilities and tasks may involve working between the two school sites. Visits to the school to meet our children and staff are warmly welcomed.
