We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Warehouse Operative at the GXO Tesco Distribution Centre in Widnes, WA8 0PB
This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available.
Your pay rate as a full time Warehouse Operative:
- First 12 weeks: £12.95 per hour
- After 12 weeks: £13.25 per hour
Typical working hours as a full time Warehouse Operative:
You will be working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off rotation
- Day shift: 6am - 6pm
- Night shift: 6pm - 6am
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Please be aware that you will be working in a cold environment (about 1-3 degrees) for all duration of shift.
- Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning.
- Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection.
- Empty cages of cardboard onto the bailing machine ready for condensing.
- Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all the work areas are kept clean and tidy.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- No experience required - all training will be provided.
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work.
