As an Early Years Apprentice at First Steps you will have the chance to work with the team to develop and plan learning opportunities both inside and outside for the children. You will learn many new skills to support children’s development and help them to grow into curious confident learners. We have a very experienced team of practitioners who can role model and help support you.
Carrying out planned activities under the direct guidance, direction and supervision of the Nursery Manager/Deputy manager and team. This may include activities such as cooking, group time, stories, play-acting, singing, etc., to stimulate children’s language, promote questions and develop ideas
Being a member of the team providing high-quality child-care provision, including taking care of children’s personal needs such as feeding, toileting, self-care.
Be committed to the Safeguarding and Welfare of the children and follow policies and procedures relating to all aspects of the Early Years setting.
This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
