HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a highly ambitious merged College Group. Based in the diverse London boroughs of Harrow, Hillingdon, and Richmond upon Thames, we have five vibrant, modern campuses supporting around 16,000 extraordinary learners.
In this role, you will assist in the development of successful social media output and campaigns across all platforms, ensuring our content connects, inspires and resonates with our learners and wider audiences.
Responsibilities will include:
• Developing and curating engaging content for HRUC’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and the internal-facing staff intranet
• Collaborating with our student community, curriculum teams and marketing and branding colleagues to create outstanding content, delivered through a carefully co-ordinated social media calendar
• Utilising social media management tools to manage multiple accounts
• Monitoring social media enquiries and supporting the team with responses
• Assisting in generating student-led content for our social media channels
• Reviewing analytics and social media impact
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate the following:
• Extensive social media knowledge and IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and experience with social media systems/databases
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy and complex workload effectively
• Ability to work well with students and cultivate stories for social channels, and inspire participation in our campaigns
• Ability to find and craft impactful social media posts
• Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
The post holder will be based primarily at Richmond College, and must be willing and able to travel to other college sites when required.
