Your excellent communication and customer care skills will be essential to ensuring close partnership working with parents, children and young people, including schools, settings and all professionals involved in supporting this work.
You will ensure that all assessments for children and young people take place and that initial Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) are finalised in line with statutory timeframes. You will be responsible for ensuring that the reviews of EHCPs take place annually and at the right time and you will attend annual reviews as and when appropriate. You will also help shape the journey of the young person as they prepare for adulthood.
This is a highly demanding role, and you will be working in an established experienced and supportive team, and you will have many opportunities to extend your skills and experience further. We have a commitment to continuous professional development in our service.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check at Enhanced Level with Children's Barred List is required for this post.
