Your tasks
-Lead the material handling team and deputise for the logistics team leader as required
-H&S responsible for all logistical areas and interfaces with production
-Plan and organise material handling capacity (personnel and equipment) in order to meet the customer and programme requirements
-Optimise the efficiency, agility and flexibility of the material handling team (LO3/4 Fixed & Variable)
-Monitor and control logistics KPIs in accordance with company requirements
-Optimise material flow in accordance with the Brose Production System
-Contribute to and support continuous improvement activities and processes in the logistics function
-Ensuring training and development of the logistics team to meet the business needs
-Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Your Profile
-Higher Level Education
-Relevant experience in similar role within an automotive environment.
-Extensive experience with the use of ERP/ MRP - SAP preferred
-Able to make decisions and work independently
-Competent in the use of MS Office.
-Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
-Experienced in implementing lean transformations in brownfield environments
