The role?

As Website Content Officer, you will work closely with the Digital Engagement team, including external freelancers and agencies, plus the wider Engagement department and colleagues throughout The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) charity, to provide essential support in the management of website content on DofE.org.



This is a new role and fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in digital marketing and website content management. Integral to the charity achieving its Engagement and Fundraising objectives, the role spans integrated campaigns, organic activity and paid advertising, with an emphasis on growing our supporter audience.



You’ll be joining a passionate, creative and ambitious team at an exciting time as we work to deliver the DofE’s ambitious Youth Without Limits strategy.



What are we looking for?

A digital marketing professional with experience in website content management.
You’ll have the ability to optimise content for web with consideration for user experience, SEO and accessibility.
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll have a passion for using the power of digital content to champion young people and a commitment to the DofE’s work and values.

**The geographical allowance is based on a member of staff having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
