Summary
To assist the pharmacy department by delivering all completed discharge and in-patient medicines to wards to aid timely patient discharge. To deliver urgent medicines from Pharmacy Aseptic unit to wards/Clinics To attend promptly to all customers both internal and external and provide a high standard of customer service. To be responsible for the accurate scanning of in-patients medicines before delivering to wards To undergo training to ensure competence To assist where appropriate with the training of new staff To aid team approach communications to patient care and risk by dealing with queries from ward staff andwhere necessary refer any questions to a member of the pharmacy team
