Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Guillotine Operative to work in their leading facility in Wem.
For the successful Guillotine Operative, our client is offering:
• Starting rate of £12.79 to £14.00 per hour
• 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday, early finish Friday
• Overtime paid at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday & Double time Sunday
• Temporary-Permanent position
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays (once full-time)
• Overalls and uniforms will be provided
The role – Guillotine Operative
• Operating a 5-tonne gantry crane
• Ability to use measuring equipment
• Plasma and gas-cutting materials
• Monitoring the quality of completed components after they are cut
• Changing of the machine's consumable components as and when required
• Maintaining and improving housekeeping in the working area.
What our client is looking for in a Guillotine Operative
• Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Gantry crane license (Training will be provided) - PREFERRED
