What are we looking for?
Birmingham Newman University is looking to recruit Visiting Lecturers to support the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme. This will include supporting simulation and practical teaching activities. We welcome applications from HCPC registered Physiotherapists with clinical expertise and a desire to share this knowledge with students.
If appointed as a Visiting Lecturer, teaching will be allocated on an hourly basis. Successful applicants will be contacted when their expertise is required during the course of the academic year. The number of hours available will be subject to course requirements and may be offered at short notice. The hourly rate of pay for this role varies dependant on the type of work completed. Please see Appendix One of the associated job description for more information.
Relevant subject expertise is essential. Teaching experience within a clinical or non-clinical environment is preferred. Teaching experience and/or a teaching qualification is preferred.
