We are looking for compassionate healthcare assistants to work FLEXIBLE Daytime hours with an established healthcare provider in the Codnor area.
We are recruiting experienced professionals to work alongside their existing staff in a beautiful nursing home to provide a fantastic level of care to vulnerable residents. Our client specialises in caring for the elderly with serious age related conditions such as dementia, with space for 42 service users.
Your general duties will include assisting residents with personal care, toileting, and using moving and handling equipment. Strive to provide the highest quality of care to ensure residents are comfortable and support their physical and mental wellbeing. You will be expected to monitor the condition of service users, accurately reporting any changes in their condition to senior staff members. You will also be required to perform basic cleaning and compliance tasks to ensure the facility is free from hazards and infection risks, and meets health and safety standards.

Suitable candidates for this role:
- Must have previous residential care setting experience
- This must be at least 3 months within a UK care setting
- Must have an enhanced DBS, dated in the last year
- Must have mandatory training, such as Moving and Handling, Safeguarding Adults, Infection Control
- Must have two employment references, at least one from a UK based care setting

Shift patterns for this role are as follows:
AM: 06:45-14:30
PM: 14:15-22:00
Long days are also available depending on requirements
