Manage the appointment system. Process repeat prescription requests following practice procedures. process all correspondence received scanning, distributing and actioning as appropriate. Set up referral letters Monitor daily diary, ensure doctor/staff aware of appointments or action entries.Ensure general office, reception area and waiting rooms are tidy and in good order on a daily basis, eg desks cleared of unnecessary papers, files, records etc. Make drinks and wash up. Lock and unlock filing cabinets ensuring all lights and electrical equipment is turned off and windows secure before leaving.
