Job Description
Are you a fully qualified Childcare Practitioner? Then Little Scholars Nursery East Kilbride could be looking for you! We are looking for an individual who meets the following requirements:
At least two years experience is preferred.
As a member of the team you will assist in the care and development of young children between the ages of 6 weeks and five years.
As part of an established team you will provide a positive, caring and fun environment for young minds to flourish. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with children, parents and other staff.
An understanding of play based approach to children's learning and development.
An understanding of the Together We Can and We Will , Curriculum for Excellence, Building the Ambition, Realising the Ambition, HGIOELC, Health and Social Care Standards, GIRFEC and Safeguarding and Child Protection are essential.
Knowledge of online learning journals is desired but not essential as training will be given.
Qualification: SVQ 3, HNC or equivalent.
