The Role
The Project Manager (Partnerships and Healthcare Degree Apprenticeships) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Healthcare Education Consortium and Oxford Brookes University’s objectives to address NHS workforce shortages. This position will manage the development, delivery, and governance of healthcare degree apprenticeships, aligning efforts with the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and OfS funding requirements.

This fixed-term role is based at our Headington Campus, with occasional travel across England. You will report to the Head of UK Partnerships and Apprenticeships.

What Will I Be Doing?
As the Project Manager, you will:

● Lead and manage the development and onboarding of new healthcare degree apprenticeship partnerships.
● Work closely with academic teams, faculties, and external partners to oversee processes such as due diligence, approvals, and quality assurance.
● Collaborate with the Healthcare Education Consortium to achieve NHS workforce targets.
● Develop effective governance frameworks for degree apprenticeships.
● Monitor apprentice recruitment and ensure alignment with workforce plans.
● Support enrolment, induction, and training of students and affiliate staff.
● Provide high-quality analysis and reports to University committees.
● Manage payment profiles and ensure funding body compliance.

Which Skills Do I Need?

● Experience of developing and managing strategic relationships with external stakeholders or clients.
● Solid understanding of the degree apprenticeship landscape and experience working in this field.
● Project management experience, including managing complex stakeholder environments.
● Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to problem-solve, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
