An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Income & Credit Control Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Credit Control Co-Ordinator, the Income and Credit Control Assistant will be part of our front-line Income and Credit Control team. The Income and Credit Control team assist customers with queries and deal in all aspects of debt collection, including the collection of commercial and student debt. In addition, the post will assist in the allocation and reconciliation of payments received by the University to ensure that debt is followed up promptly and in accordance with the University procedures. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and have experience of customer service within an Income & Credit Control environment. The post will be located within the Directorate of Finance based at the Old Aberdeen campus and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
To be considered for the role of Income & Credit Control Assistant you should hold a good secondary education and have excellent IT skills. It is essential that you have experience of communicating with customers and other relevant parties within an Income & Credit Control environment.
Candidates must be flexible, confident working independently, and be able to plan and prioritise their own workload, especially during busy periods to ensure all deadlines are met.
This will be a hybrid working role and the candidate must be able to attend the office in Aberdeen on a weekly basis. Office days are currently Tuesday and Thursdays set around operational requirements. On occasion, attendance out with these days may also be required according to business needs.
Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 3 scale, £24,606 - £26,038 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
