We are a family run small business with 5 employees, looking for a 6th to help us get through a large order book. Previous experience and attention to detail is important in this company, as projects are given out to each member and they are left to proceed on their own. Whatever skills you don't possess we are happy to teach, educate and show, but there must be a high level of finish, quality in construction and an ability to work under your own steam.
We make exclusively bespoke items, producing veneered work, laminated work, all manner of external joinery, internal joinery, with some kitchens, wardrobes, bookcases etc thrown in. No 2 days are the same. The position offered is for a wood machinist, depending on the project concerned.
Being a small team, any newcomer must be affable, easy-going and able to get along with existing staff members. This is almost as important as any skill set possessed.
There is often, especially when we're busy, an ability to do overtime at the weekends.
