Monday to Friday [Saturdays are optional. Overtime will be paid].
Rate £15.05 per hour + £10.00 a day when HIAB Licence is used.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as a Class 1 HIAB Driver and start working towards a PERMANENT position with one of our largest Clients just outside Ilkeston, Derby.
Driver Responsibilities:
Driving a Class I Flat-Bed vehicle with a lorry mounted crane - HIAB. Nationwide deliveries of pipes.
Driver requirements and skills:
* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, and valid Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
* You MUST be in possession of an ALLMI HIAB Licence
* You MUST have held your Class 1 licence for a MIN of 2 years
* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.
* Strapping experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
Driver Key Information and Benefits:
* Weekly pay [during the 13 week temp to Perm period].
* FREE onsite parking
* Rate £15.05 per hour + 28 day's holiday pay
* £10.00 a day additional pay when HIAB Licence is used
* Optional Overtime @ overtime enhanced rate of pay.
* Full-time salary will be confirmed by the Client at interview stage.
